These items are individually HANDMADE BY ME from stained glass, copper, and steel. I cut the glass, fuse it, and assemble it in bases designed and soldered by me. Even the copper leaves are hand tooled. The final product is treated to inhibit rust and oxidation.

  • Next, I cut it into circles based on the sizes I will need. I select the steel rod that will be used and prep it.
  • One of my kilns, where the heating and melting takes place, at temperatures of up to 1450 degrees.
  • Flat leaves are punched out of copper and crinkled to look real.
  • A base is made for the finished artwork; the glass is inserted and tightened, and leaves are soldered on. VOILA!

MY NEIGHBORS MADE ME DO IT! I made these for myself and then everyone else wanted them, SO...that's how I started!...
